The Office of State Epidemiology (OSE), Public Information Office, is often the first point of contact for the public when seeking information regarding public health, health care needs, medical issues, statistics, and other public health information. On behalf of the Administrator and Bureau Chiefs, staff responds to requests from visual and print media, both local and national. In coordination with program managers, the Public Information Office prepares and prints informational brochures and publications regarding a myriad of public and behavioral health issues affecting Nevadans. The Public Information Office provides consultation, technical assistance, review of all publications for external distribution, and oversight of the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health website for the office.
