EpiTrax Main Dashboard

This documentation covers the Dashboard, Events, Facilities, CMR Search, People, and Settings menu items in the green bar. This covers the tabs, core fields and functions available. The remaining Menu items are covered in their own documentation. 

EpiTrax Case Workflow

Participants will learn how to navigate and complete routing steps in EpiTrax, including identifying required versus optional workflow actions, performing routing tasks within two sections of a confidential morbidity report (CMR), and accepting or assigning CMRs as part of the local health department investigation process. 

The People

This training will explain when to use the People tab, what information appears in a person file, which details can or cannot be edited, added, or deleted, and how updates in a CMR and person file affect each other. 

Edit Person

This section describes how to edit or view a person page in EpiTrax. There are two types of fields in EpiTrax, core and form fields. Core fields are the base fields that conditions have in common, which the edit/view person page.

Creating and Managing Helpful Events

Participants will learn how to create and modify event views in EpiTrax, filter by key variables, identify agency cases awaiting LHD acceptance, set default views, and explore available workflow options within the Events section. 

Edit Event

This section covers the different tabs and menu items available in the Edit and View modes. Editing an event is where the majority of work is performed in EpiTrax. 

Managing Tasks

This section equips learners to navigate the task dashboard, customize task views, explore scheduled tasks, and assign tasks within a CMR to themselves or other investigators. 

Export Technical

This section covers the export options in EpiTrax, including using the export module to build a custom export with filters. Notes and limitations on exports are covered at the end of the Standard Operating Procedure. 

Outbreak User Technical

This section details how view and manipulate outbreaks, including editing associated events, searching and investigating outbreaks, as well as associated outbreaks and sharing to other agencies.
